Picnic Catering
  About Us
Picnic People has franchised into a variety of diverse markets, and as Picnic People continues to select and award more franchises, it is clear that the brand does not require a specific business model to be successful for the franchisee. Picnic People's focus is to find good business people, with a successful food and beverage business already in place. Picnic People is looking for partners that are willing and able to use the franchise to grow their business. There are currently six franchises in place.

catering franchises Western Carolinas
Scott Vending Company had been in business for more than 50 years, providing vending and coffee service to business and industries in the Western North Carolina region. As manufacturing facilities began to close in the company's region, and the margins in their business lines began to shrink, Scott Vending began to diligently look for a new business opportunity which would help them diversify their core business.

As a result of their extensive research, Scott Vending purchased the first Picnic People franchise in the country. Adding Picnic People to their company allowed them to revitalize their underused kitchen with a new product and brand. The Picnic People franchise quickly provided Scott Vending with new business opportunities with existing clients as well as provided Scott Vending with new clients.

The company felt so positive about current and future possibilities in the catering and special events business that they made a strategic decision to sell the Scott Vending business and concentrate on a new business. Soon after the sale of Scott Vending, the company purchased a catering company in the Charlotte market and formed Signature Event Group, the parent company of Picnic People Western Carolinas and Side Porch Catering.

catering franchises Northern California
Elaine Bell Catering Company (EBCC) has built a name for elegant, sophisticated and well organized weddings in the Sonoma and Napa area of Northern California. EBCC saw the need for professional corporate picnic services in their region and began to seriously consider starting their picnic division when they opted to purchase a Picnic People franchise. This decision allowed them to focus on the growth of their franchise rather than the initial start up of a new division.

In 2006, EBCC moved from Sonoma to their newly designed and built facility in Napa. The plan is for Picnic People to serve as a driving force in their market and expand their overall sales revenue by adding continued diverse offerings of products to their old and new corporate clients. As the wedding and corporate business for EBCC continues to expand, Picnic People will help capture other off-premise catering opportunities from, company picnics, harvest parties, even rehearsal dinners and other catering related services that their expanding customer base requires, with a broader price-point for buyers.

catering franchises Dallas

Culinaire is a privately held food and beverage corporation headquartered in Dallas, Texas.  Culinaire operates nationwide in the hospitality industry, specializing in hotels, cultural centers, private clubs, entertainment arenas, venues for public assembly, zoos, off-premise catering and freestanding restaurants. Food Glorious Food is Culinaire’s off-premise catering company, and it is the largest and most prestigious caterer in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. They were immediately interested based on their longstanding success and unique concept.  They were looking at additional revenue streams to leverage their existing resources for more profitability. Because most of their existing catering business was conducted in the evening, a daytime product line was the perfect match. No one else is “packaging fun” this way in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
